A ‘photo story’ of the day I spent in Bangkok recently (whilst travelling between Chiang Mai and Cambodia). It was a short visit but I packed a lot in! It was quite the shock to the system to go from sleepy, charming Chiang Mai to ultra-urban, teeming Bangkok.
Flick through the slide show to spend the day with me (it begins with ‘Started my day…’ so if it’s moved on when you’re ready to start, click back!)…

Wow with a capital W. You mentioned in your blog that you liked buying appropriate presents
for your friends. You most certainly DID in my case. I am still wallowing in the excitement of
switching on my electric blanket by remote control from the comfort of my living room.

Thanks Grandad! Hope that you are keeping warm too given all the snow you seem to be having over there. Glad you enjoyed my photos – it’ll be back to a more text based post for the next one I think, although I have a *lot* of photos of Cambodia to share… x

Love the photo story idea, although I wasn’t quick enough to read and admire the photos at the same time, so had to keep pausing it! Might have to add Bangkok to my list of places to visit when we retire, looks very exciting. Glad all’s going well, lots of snow here, but no days off school yet…………. Love Tess x x

I’m not quite the photo shop artist you are, but I’m getting there – at least I’ve starting taking photos now! Bangkok has a lot going on, certainly it’s worth a visit! x

I hope you are well and enjoying a Thai escape.

Thanks Dani, yes, life in Chiang Mai continues sunny and relaxing. I now have a month’s yoga retreat booked in March so I have a bit to go. Two more Cambodian posts to come, with a few nice group pics too. Hope things are good with you since you returned. x

Love JT house.
If you go back, try BedSupperClub or the Sky bar at the Lebua.
